What does a house Rewire in Manchester involve?
Your Properties electrical cables run under the flooring and in the walls, so rewiring your home will require flooring to be lifted and walls drilled into, and chased. This it a considerably messy and disruptive job.

- Remove all old cabling where possible.
- Testing and Inspection of New cabling and equipment.
- Once completed an Electrical Installation Certificate will be issued and the relevant council notified of the work.
- Before the rewire starts you can discuss with your electrician, where you would like your sockets and lights to be installed.
First stage – cabling, wiring, circuits and back boxes are all replaced.
Second stage – light fittings, face plates, sockets, switches are installed. All wiring is connected to the consumer unit to make everything live.
